I have gambled on countless of hands of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of funds at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a few years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you notice gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first $80 wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
