I have bet on millions of hands of blackjack. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent a lot of cash at blackjack. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a few months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
